For a lot of families, owning a pet just isn’t in the cards. They can be too much of a smelly responsibility to take on in addition to life’s everyday craziness. Thanks to technology, there is a new breed of dog available called the Zoomer. Zoomer is an interactive dog that behaves just like a real dog. It can be taught tricks and understands English, French, Spanish, and Russian. This holiday season, give your kids what they want most: a puppy!

2. Lego Architecture

This Christmas, I will be ditching electronics for some good ol’ Legos. My younger brother, who is 9, used to be in love with building creations but this past year he has become consumed with playing video games. As young as he is, he can build kits that have 500+ pieces, which is incredible. Legos are perfect for any creative kid and really great for keeping them busy for a couple of hours. I love their Architecture kit line because it features popular landmarks like the United Nations Headquarters, The Empire State Building, and even The Leaning Tower of Pisa.

3. Slackers 90′ Zipline Eagle Series Kit with Seat

I had the special privilege of enjoying 2 miles of zip-lining in Mexico. Ever since then, I’ve been addicted and can’t wait to try it again. This awesome gift will definitely keep your kids (and adults!) entertained and outside for hours!

4. Black & Decker Junior Power Workshop

My favorite gifts as a child were the crafty ones that I could do at home at the kitchen table or on the floor of my room. In my opinion this is one gift that actually serves a purpose. Bring on the rain (or snow)!

6. Paint Your Own Porcelain: Bowls

Why pay money for those pottery painting places when you can do it at home? Kids will surely have a great time creating their own masterpieces. The best part is these bowls can totally be used and re-used for years to come.

7. Snow Globe Kit by Seedling

I’ve never met anyone who doesn’t stop for a second and marvel at how incredible snow globes are. That being said, when I came across this snow globe maker I knew I had to feature it. This gift will definitely be a hit! It will look great displayed on any mantle, shelf, night-stand etc.

8. Mr. Sherwood Stitch Kit

9. BOP IT!

Growing up in the 90s, this was one of the best toys on the market. It was so entertaining and super challenging. I could spend at least an hour straight playing with this and what made it even greater was how portable it was. The newly designed BOP IT! is sure to be just as fun and is a perfect addition to those holiday parties at home where both kids and adults alike can jump in on the fun.

10. Talkboy

I thought, since we’re on the nostalgic path, why not bring back what might have been one of the most popular gift of the 90’s: the Talkboy. This iconic toy was made popular because of its appearance in Home Alone 2. Did you know, the Talkboy wasn’t a real toy? It was a prop designed just for the movie but after the premier consumers demanded it be made for production. I’m pretty sure I need one.
