In Case you Missed It – Homes for Hobbits and Elves

Of all the magical villages and places we saw in the earlier films and that we’re sure to see again in “The Hobbit”, we really like ‘The Shire’ and the Elven land of ‘Rivendell’. In fact, we think those communities and homes are so great that we even did some research and wrote about each.

My fellow Lord of the Rings fans, our almost nine year wait for another film based on the J.R.R. Tolkien novels comes to an end tomorrow with the release of “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey”. One of the things that made the LOTR films so mesmerizing was how Tolkein’s fantasy world was so realistically (and awesomely) brought to life.
