    Good info, and yes, the switch to LED makes perfect sense, I have done so in all my houses. However, I have yet to be sold on the wifi connected (smart) bulb. Really, this is better than a little discipline?
    Smart homes are homes waiting to be hacked into and imagine how easy criminals get it. They hack into your fridge, lightbulb or other “smart” device and get access to your home network. Within days they can analyze the patterns and know your schedule and habits and can act accordingly.

    This is not to say there can be no benefits but before you jump “all in”, make sure to educate yourself and conduct a good benefit-risk assessment…
