Congrats to the Coldwell Banker Home Field Advantage All Stars

Adam Jones, Josh Donaldson and Glen Perkins make the 2014 MLB All Star Game.

Yesterday, the MLB All Star lineups were announced for the National and American League, and quite a few players featured in the Coldwell Banker Home Field Advantage video series have made the team.

Adam Jones of the Baltimore Orioles is making his second appearance as a starter for the American League while the A’s Josh Donaldson (who’s video will debut later this month) is the first Oakland A’s player to be elected to start by the fans since Jason Giambi.

Possibly the most excited All Star next week will be Minnesota Twins closer, Glen Perkins. He is a Minnesota native who played high school and college baseball in his home state and will now get the opportunity to pitch in the mid-summer classic for his team in front of his hometown fans. Coldwell Banker will unveil Glen Perkins’ amazing story and home on the Monday before the All Star Game (July 14).

Congrats to all those players who made their first All Star Game (especially you Daniel Murphy!). Check out all the great videos of MLB’ players that are part of the Coldwell Banker Home Field Advantage series here.

Hmm. This is not really what i think most of todays buyers are interested in- baseball players (yawn) and ones that most of us (Okay, I took a break room poll) have never even heard of? (double yawn… where’s the remote…) Face the facts… most home buying decisions are made by the women of the household, with so many new home buyers being single women!! Really, if you are going to chose sports as your marketing idea to bring attention and credibility to the company why not pick someone young, handsome, talented and exciting….someone that will actually get the interest of our hottest buyers, turn their head when a Coldwell Banker commercial plays again and again… and brings them in the door?? Come on Coldwell Banker marketing team, this is actually embarrassing!

Hey Kathy. You’re certainly welcome to your opinion and I hope you have seen our commercials like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6PZx6S4tSM or perhaps you’re a Tom Selleck fan? Try this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jowzTzztuaY

        Hey David,
Yes I have seen those ads and they ARE better than the new ones (in my humble opinion) I still think you need to step out of the box and try something exciting and different. You have just seconds to make and impact and I know that remotes are clicking before viewers have a chance to hear a little bit of Motley Crew at the very end. Do I have a better idea? Yes, actually I do 🙂 If i had a way to contact you I would be happy to run it by you, unless you don’t consider ideas from the public. If you don’t, well thanks for the reply at least!
