    Well said. Most lenders and mortgage brokers can provide pre-approval letters to clients fast an easy. Keep in mind that it is equally important to keep your pre-approval letter up to date through the entire home search.

    Items like your credit report and bank statements submitted at the time of pre-approval only last so long, and changes to employment or loan programs also can affect your pre-approval. Stay proactive with your agent and lender to ensure your pre-approval status is accurate.
