As we saw in our “Home’s Best Friend” commercial, when you leave your house and your dog behind, it seems like they “wait… just wondering when you’re coming home.” If you’re heading off to a family vacation this summer and need to leave your pup behind, here’s a few ideas on how to keep them happy until you return.

Whether a dog sitter is staying in your house or your pup is staying at a friend’s place or kennel, keep his or her routine consistent by making sure their bed goes with them. Your dog will be comforted by the familiar smells of home and will sleep well, even while you’re away.
