Seeing Home Through the Eyes of a Child

In this LXTV Open House segment, kids share their unique perspective of what makes home so special.

This time of year, we’re reminded of the many reasons to be thankful for home. A home is so much more than a roof over our heads; it is the place that represents everything we hold dear. Sometimes in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, we can lose sight of the infinite reasons that home is a wonderful place, but kids often have a unique perspective of what makes home so special.

What does home mean to you? We decided to pose that very questions to kids. In this segment, which first appeared on Open House, we headed to Compass Charter School in the Fort Greene Section of Brooklyn, NY to find out what home means to the littlest ones.
