In the most recent episode of Open House on NBC, Sean Blankenship, Coldwell Banker’s CMO, talks about how the heartwarming Homes for Dogs Project aimed at finding homes for 20,000 dogs in 2015, truly hit home for him. Meet Chuy, the adorable pup that resembles a Star Wars icon. The Blankenships welcomed him into their home after the kickoff of the campaign and saw how one four-legged friend can truly transform a home.  Here is the story of Chuy, one of 20,000 pets that found home this year.

From the warm welcomes they greet us with to their cuddly company, a pet really makes a house a home. That sentiment has been part of a new mission for Coldwell Banker this year. Because Coldwell Banker’s calling has always been to help people find home, a natural extension of the 2015 campaign included the furriest members of our households, too. The Coldwell Banker Homes for Dogs Project, an initiative aimed at helping adoptable dogs find homes, touched many homes, including most notably the home of Coldwell Banker’s CMO, Sean Blankenship.

Through a tremendous partnership with Adopt-a-Pet.com, Coldwell Banker was successful in surpassing the goal of securing homes for more than 20-thousand pets in 2015.  Learn more about this initiative and one of those dogs who found a home in the Open House episode below.
