Living in Las Vegas means living in two worlds. One world is your own neighborhood that seems miles from the famed Las Vegas Strip; the other world is life among the tourists, hotels, casinos, and activity on the Strip. Some locations around town just can’t be beaten for truly seamless hotel access when you’re looking for that other world almost outside your front door.

Las Vegas Country Club

This is the original neighborhood in town that lets you get away from it all while remaining within minutes of hotel access on the Strip. Las Vegas Country Club offers private homes, condos, and the Regency Towers high rise. This guard gated community, famously featured in the movie Casino, enjoys a private golf club and other amenities.

Scotch 80’s

Another vintage Vegas gem, the guard gated master planned community of Scotch 80’s, has custom homes. Many celebrities and local movers and shakers have maintained residences in this secluded enclave, which is located only a mile and a half from the Strip. Rancho Bel Air and Rancho Nevada Estates just north of Scotch 80’s also offer guard gated living with classic old Vegas charm and easy access to the Strip.

Southern Highlands

Located just west of the I-15 and the intersection of St. Rose Parkway and Las Vegas Boulevard, Southern Highlands features custom and semi-custom homes surrounding one of only four golf courses in the world designed by both Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Recreational facilities, dining, shopping options, and other amenities, let residents here truly relax in their own world. But when it’s time to come out and play, hotel access to the Strip is straight up the I-15. You could also take a leisurely drive along Las Vegas Boulevard from St. Rose Parkway.

Silverado Ranch

This highly affordable community’s westernmost boundary begins one block east of Las Vegas Boulevard and extends eastward, just kissing the Henderson border near Eastern and the 215 Beltway. Neighborhoods in Silverado Ranch started springing up in the late 1990s and built out into the various condos, townhomes, and detached home communities available today. The homes all have neighborhood parks, shopping, dining, and entertainment within easy reach. When it’s time for a night out on the town, just hop on the 215 Beltway for hotel access in minutes. You can also head west on Silverado Ranch Boulevard to Las Vegas Boulevard for a drive along the Strip.

Green Valley Ranch

Townhomes, condos, and detached homes provide plenty of options for living in this area located just off the 215 at the Green Valley Parkway or Valley Verde exits and approximately 15 minutes from all the hotel access and entertainment on the Strip. Within the Green Valley Ranch, community residents enjoy beautiful parks, restaurants, and shopping, and The District at Green Valley Ranch is a unique urban living environment featuring upscale shops, dining, and entertainment.

Whether you choose a custom home community near the heart of the Strip or a sub-division with an easy freeway route into town, living in Las Vegas truly means having the best of both worlds.
