Here are the top five pastry shops in Miami Beach. Whether you are craving French macaroons or lychee peach brewed ice tea, make it a priority to visit True Loaf Bakery, Ladurée, Bakehouse Brasserie, Rosetta Bakery, or O’ My Buns.

Craving a delicious cappuccino or French macaroons? Make it a priority to visit these top five pastry shops in Miami Beach.

True Loaf Bakery

Located in the heart of the lively Sunset Harbour neighborhood, this bakery serves masterfully crafted organic breads, croissants, cookies, and other delicious flaky bites. Although the minimalist shop is small and unassuming, their pastries are said to be some of the best in all of Miami. The most popular items include their unparalleled almond croissant, their decadent gluten-free peanut butter cookie dipped in chocolate, their unique coconut sourdough bread, their chocolate chip walnut cookie, and their simple, yet flawless French baguette. The shop’s pastries are now served at Panther Coffee and other places, but I highly recommend trying them fresh at True Loaf. However, get there early, as they frequently sell out of their most cherished creations.

Ladurée

Originating in Paris in 1862, this luxury pastry shop is said to have the best macaroons in the world. Although they’re a bit pricy, these delicious treats are certainly worth every penny as they always live up to their exceptional reputation. The company’s upscale Lincoln Road store may be tiny, but the high-end finishes and pastel colored accessories create a chic setting that is an effortless reflection of the exquisite pastries they serve. Ladurée specializes in making French macaroons with flavors ranging from traditional vanilla and chocolate to floral rose petal and orange blossom to fruity raspberry and blackcurrant and all the way to their secret recipe Marie Antoinette flavor. No matter which you go with, you will undoubtedly love them all! Whether you visit the shop and have a cup of tea with your macaroons or buy them as a special gift for someone else, Ladurée will never let you down!

Bakehouse Brasserie

This brand-new brasserie has a gorgeous glass pastry display where you can choose from an assortment of French delicacies. If you’re in a rush, pick up a pain au chocolat, a gluten-free muffin, or an almond croissant. For more decadent options, opt for the bacon-maple cinnamon roll or the bacon, guava, chevre pastelito. If you prefer something savory, there’s the duck confit pastelito, the plain croissant, or the short rib pastelito. If you would like to sit down and enjoy your pastry in their beautiful Parisian-style café, feel free to take your time, read the newspaper, and wash down your baked goods with coffee, fresh-squeezed juice, or if you’re feeling up to it, perhaps a mimosa or some Frosé. This lovely new addition to the South of Fifth neighborhood is ideal for anyone on the go or looking for a place to socialize, relax, and have a tasty treat.

Rosetta Bakery

Another one of the new pastry shops in Miami Beach, Rosetta is a wonderful Italian bakery that serves a wide array of bread, pastries, paninis, and beverages. Their clean, sleek design featuring white brick walls and wood floors feels very homey, resembling a stunning Italian house kitchen. Fortunately, their food tastes as good as the place looks. Their celebrated mozzarella, turkey, prosciutto, and ham sandwiches made with freshly baked bread are all outstanding. As are their various fruit tarts, brownies, cakes, focaccias, croissants, and much more. Did I mention that they also make Nutella tarts, Nutella cookies, Nutella donuts, Nutella croissants, and a chocolate cake topped with a dollop of Nutella? Pair your Italian indulgence with a delicious cappuccino or some fresh-squeezed OJ, bravo!

O’ My Buns

If you haven’t been to O’ My Buns, I suggest you make it a top priority. As a specialty bakery dedicated to making delectable buns, they rose to fame because of their glazed buns with a broad selection of optional toppings. Go with their original coffee bun or the vanilla cream cheese bun and top them with almonds, flax seeds, walnuts, or whatever else you please. However, they’ve since expanded; their prominence has also grown due to their skillful crafting of creative pastries and an extensive beverage menu. Some of their scrumptious newer additions include their Hong Kong waffles, cream cheese pastries, lychee peach brewed ice tea, frappe coffees, and of course their immaculate matcha green tea lattes. Everything is great, but seriously try their waffles. They’re offered with appetizing toppings such as Oreos, M&Ms, Fruity Pebbles, Fruit Loops, Nutella, sprinkles, fresh fruits, nuts, seeds, and much, much more. This incredibly unique bakery will take your breath away, literally.

While attending Gen Blue, we frequented Rosetta a few times that week.
