A trend that has continued to grow in 2016 centers around designs made from sustainable or organic resources. Thinking about reflooring? Consider bamboo. Bamboo might also be a great choice for furnishings — or consider furnishings that have been made from recycled materials. Organically, it’s time to add an even larger living touch to your living room, with furniture in its organic shape versus processed, or more and more green plants as a part of your design scheme.
Don’t want to spend a lot of money? How can you reuse or recycle what you already have in your living room to look and feel newer and more homey? Reupholstering your furniture can be far less expensive than buying new, and has become fashionable as a DIY project as well. What about old and tired tchotchkes?
