Kirkland Kastle in Canton, TX

There are some homes that are so amazing they truly take your breath away. That’s how I felt when I first saw Kirkland Kastle, an unbelievable, earthy home designed to feel like a luxurious log cabin, located just outside of Canton, Texas.

There are some homes that are so amazing they truly take your breath away. That’s how I felt when I first saw Kirkland Kastle, an unbelievable, earthy home designed to feel like a luxurious log cabin, located just outside of Canton, Texas.

One of our top agents, Evan Matteson of the Matteson Group (Coldwell Banker Apex, Realtors), is representing the home. Let me tell you, just looking at the pictures he is one lucky man to spend time on this property. It’s a 40 acre gated estate located just 50 minutes from Dallas. Hand crafted and designed log by log, the home was constructednearly entirely from natural materials in a 10 mile radius. In fact, Evan let us know that 90% of logs would have ended up in burn piles as people clear their land.

Best yet, it doesn’t end with the home itself. On the property are two bridges, a gorgeous lake, a barn and a gazebo. Priced at $4,000,000 I can’t personally afford this one, but I know whoever ends up there will be glad they did.

What’s your dream home? I would love to see photos of that special place you would give anything to live in.

Great place, far enough away to be country but with all the amenities you would want in a home and more.
