Las Vegas is known worldwide for everything from great entertainment to all-you-can-eat buffets. Many visitors to our great city never step off the Las Vegas Boulevard. In fact, I have had friends think my house is just down the street from the hustle of the strip. And that’s just fine, because we Las Vegas locals have a secret we aren’t sure we want to share with the world. OK, twist my arm, I’ll say it: Las Vegas has some of the best happy hours you’ll ever find. How to do happy hour Las Vegas-style? Take a short 15-minute ride in any direction, and you can enjoy some of the best atmosphere, food, and drink around. These happy hours will leave plenty of money in your pocket, too! Take it from us: They’re well worth the drive.
Here are some of my favorites:
Brio Tuscan Grille at Tivoli Village
Brio has two locations in Las Vegas offering amazing appetizer and drink specials. Our personal favorite is in Tivoli Village in Summerlin. Sitting on their patio puts a perfect ending to your day. Soak up the Tuscany ambience and fill up on northern-Italian-inspired bites for less than $10. Their happy hour is offered between 3:30 p.m to 6:30 p.m. And while you’re there, check out Tivoli Village’s shopping and other hot spots. Tivoli Village is only a few miles from our Coldwell Banker Premier Realty Corporate Office so we’re there about once a month!
Brio’s other location is in the Town Square mall, a few miles south of Mandalay Bay on Las Vegas Boulevard. This location is convenient and very popular with both tourists and locals.
Geisha House
Geisha House is Las Vegas’ spin on Japanese teppanyaki-style cuisine, where the chefs cook the food right in front of you. There are three locations in Las Vegas Valley, and all of them do an incredible happy hour from 4–9 p.m. Enjoy the fun Japanese theme, relaxed atmosphere, sake cocktails, and amazing Asian tapas!
Herbs & Rye
Herbs & Rye isn’t much to look at from the outside, but I promise you, the inside will not disappoint. The low lighting and the authentic classic cocktail menu will bring you back to the Prohibition days (and even as far back as the mid-19th century!). And at their happy hour (held from 5–8 p.m. and midnight–3 a.m. daily), the astonishingly low prices will make you feel like you’re back in the 1920s, too: Indulge in menu items like filet mignon, bone-in Kansas City strip, flat iron steak, linguine and clams, and more for 50 percent off. Complement your meal with buy-one-get-one bottles of wine, $3 drafts, $5 wells, and other cocktail specials.
This is just a short list of the specials that happy hour Las Vegas has to offer. There are so many more restaurants we could mention. So whether you’re a local resident or a visitor to Vegas, be sure to check out our local hot spots for happy hours that won’t disappoint.

I just went to the Geisha House yesterday. The experience and food were superb. The food came out really fast.
Which was great because we had hungry children. I also want to thank the staff for being very accommodating.
There was a little mishap with the group on I purchased and the staff was very sympathetic and accommodated our orders.
We had the sushi, chicken and steak meals. The meats where delivered seasoned and tender. Cooked to perfection!
My family and I will definitely check in again soon!! Give them a try. You will not be disappointed.
