Live by the Ocean in Miami Beach

Miami Beach – with its warm climate, vibrant arts scene, varied neighborhoods and architecture have given it a distinct lifestyle that’s among the most coveted in the world.

The entire barrier island of Miami Beach, Florida is essentially one large, welcoming paradise of elegant single-family homes, estates, condos, and mansions that each offer a distinct lifestyle and the living experience that’s among the best in the southeastern United States. With its profusion of bay and oceanfront residences, there is no shortage of inviting communities and condominiums in Miami Beach that make for a great permanent or vacation residence.

One of the most exclusive places to live in Miami Beach is the village of Indian Creek. This wealthy community of just over forty home sites has one of the highest incomes in the United States and it has served as the current or former home of numerous public figures and celebrities. Spanish singer Julio Iglesias and his son Enrique Iglesias have lived on Indian Creek and so have other names like media power couple Jay-Z and Beyoncé, former host of the Spanish-language television program Sabado Gigante Don Francisco, retired Miami Dolphins coach Don Shula, and Brazilian model Adriana Lima.

Formerly known as Canyon Ranch Miami Beach, Carillon Hotel & Spa consists of a trio of luxury oceanfront buildings located in the North Beach area of the city. Collectively, the Carillon enjoys a spectacular location overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and it is located just steps from the beach. It is also known for its strong emphasis on promoting a healthy lifestyle, with fitness classes, therapeutic treatment rooms, and various wellness services.

Over in the South Beach area, the Glass condo is a fairly recent addition to the area that also happens to be in a highly desirable location directly on popular Ocean Drive, yet there is more to its name once you view its boldly distinct exterior. As the name of the building alludes to, Glass has a collection of units that allow for genuine 360-degree views of the city and the nearby waters of South Florida, meaning residents practically have a different view they can enjoy each day of the year. Glass is so close to the ocean, residents have the option of walking there if they so choose.

Just west of Miami Beach is the collection of islands surrounded by the waters of Biscayne Bay. The six Venetian Islands known as Di Lido, San Marco, Rivo Alto, San Marino, Biscayne, and Belle Isle are intersected by the Venetian Causeway and have a collection of gorgeous inland and waterfront homes. Because the islands sit between Miami Beach and Miami to the west, they have a great, nearly equidistant location to both cities.

Just south of the Venetian Islands are the islands known as Palm, Star, and Hibiscus Island. The name of Star Island is quite appropriate. Located east of Hibiscus and Palm, it features stunning estates and mansions that, like the island’s name, are owned or have been owned by many notable stars. Singer Gloria Estefan and her husband Emilio, media mogul and rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, and former Miami Vice actor Don Johnson are some of the people that have lived in beautiful Star Island.
