Coldwell Banker Realty today announced Chris Jensen, Regional President, Southwest, will retire as of January 31. After 34 years with the company, Jensen earned a reputation as one of the most highly respected business leaders within the brokerage as well as across the national real estate community.
Jensen began his career in real estate in 1990, quickly becoming a top-producing agent before earning his broker’s license. He opened Northern Utah’s first Prudential Real Estate office in 1995 before the company was sold to NRT in 2003. Jensen was the managing broker for Coldwell Banker in South Ogden and expanded the small office to nearly 100 agents. Jensen has led the Southwest region for 4 years and notably initiated the Coldwell Banker’s “Core 4” value proposition for agents, touting the company’s production power, coaching, wealth-building offerings and “culture of awesomeness.”
Jensen’s strategic vision and management expertise have been instrumental in driving the company’s growth and maintaining its position as a market leader. Overseeing 3,312 agents across sales offices in Arizona, Colorado, and Utah, Chris led these offices to achieve a combined total sales volume of $9 billion in 2023.
This region of Coldwell Banker Realty will now be led by the highly regarded Regional President Joe King, who currently oversees Minnesota, St. Louis, Ohio and Pittsburgh which has more than 6,300 agents and had a total sales volume of more than $15.7 billion in 2023.
