As August comes to a close, foodies and bargain-lovers all over Miami start scrambling their way into restaurants. The daunting reality looms closer– there is only one more month to enjoy the unparalleled annual Miami Spice deals.

The Dish on Miami Spice
With three-course menus featuring some of the best dishes each restaurant has to offer, you get to choose what you like from a variety of appetizers, entrées and desserts. Every participating restaurant can choose to serve lunch, dinner, or both, and they also choose which days of the week they offer the discounted deals– so be sure to check beforehand as many restaurants don’t do Miami Spice on Saturdays and Sundays.

For and incredible $23 lunch and an unbeatable $39 dinner, you can try out some of the most expensive restaurants in the city. Below are my three favorite Miami Spice dinner menus on Miami Beach:

Kicking off the list is Byblos, a spacious Eastern Mediterranean restaurant and lounge with lively décor that offers both indoor and outdoor seating and is ideal for large parties. They offer a Miami Spice dinner menu every day of the week, except Saturdays. I recommend starting with the Organic House Labneh, a Greek yogurt spread topped with honey and olive oil on barbari bread or the savory Lamb Kibbeh with dried gif, date molasses and tahini.

Great entrée options include the Persian Fried Chicken with tahini, za’atar and red chili schug or the Harissa Spiced Shrimp. Each entrée comes with a side– Thrice-Cooked Chips, Hand Rolled Couscous, Green Beans or Seared Cauliflower. The most decadent dessert they have is the Pizzelle, which comes with baklava ice cream, salted caramel and couscous praline. Byblos serves delicious food and drinks in a beautiful, colorful environment that together makes for an incredibly charming experience!

The Dutch
Next up is The Dutch, a Miami outpost of chef Andrew Carminelli’s eclectic American eatery in NYC. This industrial seaside restaurant and oyster bar has a light, airy feel that is sophisticated, yet casual. This September, The Dutch brought down chef Sal Lamboglia of its sister NYC restaurant, Bar Primi, for a delightful Italian Miami Spice dinner menu offered every single night!

Notable antipasti include the Ricotta Crostini, Sicilian Tomato Arancini and the Mussles Rosso. Secondi Piatti feature Rigatoni Alla Norma, Spaghetti Nero, Spinach Ricotta Cavatelli and a Grilled Branzino. Chef Lamboglia is well known for his impeccable pasta techniques so I highly suggest trying one of them. As for dessert, I recommend the Warm Bombolini served with raspberry marmallata and chocolate sauce, a classic pairing of tart and sweet!

Finally, there’s Pao by Paul Qui, a Top Chef winner based in Austin that has recently opened this swanky culinary venue right on Miami Beach. Located in the ultra-luxurious Faena Hotel, this gold-studded restaurant serves a fusion of Filipino, Japanese, French and Spanish cuisines which will surely leave you wanting more.

Pao’s offers a delectable Miami Spice dinner menu Sunday through Thursday night. Appetizers feature East Side King Chicken, Diver Scallops or their famous Unicorn for an additional $20- a tasty sea urchin and corn pudding concoction. Entrées include their outrageous Smoked Short Rib Asado- a 72-hour roasted Wagyu beef, their extraordinary Mushroom rice or their outstanding Pan Roasted Market Fish Filet.

Lastly, for desserts opt for either a Champorado– chocolate rice pudding or Buko Pandan– young coconut, pandan jelly and milk jam. For just $39, you will undoubtedly experience one of the best feasts of your life!
