It’s been quite a year. And it’s only February!

I’ve been lucky enough to have a front row seat for Smart Home month here at Coldwell Banker.  Running it in January may have caused a crazy start to my year, but it’s actually perfect timing for all the agents out there. Think about it: you’re working on securing those early spring listings, which makes for a great chance to brush up on smart home lingo to inject some fresh content into your marketing talk tracks.

The Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas kicked off on January 9th and showcased tech for every possible need – including smart home gadgets. While we had a lot of fun (check out #CESCB on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook), we were focused on tech that applies to real estate and how to use it to help an agent land a listing or market a property. We were most excited to bring along our inaugural Blue Crew – a team of five smart home savvy agents who scoured the CES show floor to gather information and produce content for our network. Later in the month at Inman Connect New York, Coldwell Banker agents Angel Piontek and Matthew Rathbun led a course for nearly 200 agents about how to apply smart home knowledge to their businesses and marketing. And we unveiled a case study with industry powerhouse T3Sixty that shows it’s not too late for you to be an early adopter when it comes to using smart home tech for your business.

There is too much to share it all, but these are some of my favorite tips and info for leveraging smart home tech to improve your business:
