Voice control. Our studies back up that this latest trend in smart home tech is here to stay: 72 percent of consumers with smart home products want voice control; nearly 80 percent of Coldwell Banker affiliated agents who took our Smart Home survey said they would like a smart home speaker – like the Amazon Echo or Dot – that could give them brand news and insights.  We took this info and launched the Coldwell Banker Gen Blue News Skill for Amazon Alexa.

And now, we’re bringing the conversation to the 2017 Generation Blue Experience in Las Vegas with a panel of smart home experts and additional sessions to discuss what this latest trend means for your real estate business.

To listen now: FIRST enable the Gen Blue News skill on your Echo device. Then, and ask your Alexa device to, “open Gen Blue news.”  Then sit back and hear best practices, industry insights and quick challenges to help you grow your business. In less than 90 seconds, the Gen Blue News Skill delivers the latest Coldwell Banker news and real estate trends, including best practice tips, brand updates and special broadcasts from real estate thought leaders.

Hi Phil, have you enabled the skill first? You have to ask “Alexa, enable Gen Blue News.” or enable the Gen Blue News skill in your Amazon Alexa app on your smart device before you ask her to “Alexa, Open Gen Blue News.” Just like on a phone, an app won’t work if you don’t download it first! Hope that helps.
