Boyles recognized as shining star in the communications industry and outstanding leader within Coldwell Banker

Ragan’s Top Women in Communications Awards celebrates the female communications professionals who are mentors to future generations, who hold truth to power when necessary and are newcomers excited to make their mark on the industry. Ragan is the publisher of news sites and, and has been delivering trusted news, training and intelligence for more than 50 years to internal and external communicators, HR professionals and business executives. Ragan held a special award celebration on February 28 at the City Winery in New York City, recognizing influential women and their impressive work. The event also featured a fireside discussion with White House Correspondent April Ryan.

In her current role, Boyles oversees the public relations and corporate communications teams as they work to further the Coldwell Banker brand’s goals. Through her deep industry knowledge, clever creativity and bold leadership, Boyles successfully supports a network of over 100,000 affiliated agents in more than 2,700 offices across 39 countries and territories.

Thanks to Boyles’ strength as a strategic leader and innovator, she has consolidated the brand’s efforts in multiple areas of operations, driving growth and results and supporting the Coldwell Banker brand’s legacy as a global industry leader in real estate.

Since joining Coldwell Banker in 2003, Boyles continues to be a driving force behind the success of many of the brand’s major initiatives – including PR and marketing campaigns, fundraising initiatives and a global branding overhaul to unify the network of affiliates.

Under Boyles’ leadership, Coldwell Banker has been recognized by multiple industry leaders for its outstanding public relations efforts in real estate. In October 2022 the company was awarded the MarCom Platinum Award in the “Strategic Communications” category and in June 2022 received the American Business Award’s Gold Stevie for “Corporate Communications Campaign of the Year.”

Throughout her nearly 20-year tenure with Coldwell Banker, Boyles has been committed to uplifting the brand, its network and the people and communities they serve. She co-founded the Coldwell Banker Spirit of Home Awards, which has raised nearly $2M for housing related causes in New England since its inception. Alongside fellow Coldwell Banker female leadership, Boyles helped to launch the Coldwell Banker chapter of What Moves Her, a program which helps women in the real estate industry develop their leadership skills and realize their professional development goals. Since its inception, the chapter has expanded to six local markets with 150 ambassadors across the country.

Athena wanted to wake up in that city that doesn’t sleep so headed to Madison Avenue to start her marketing career. She has been with this awesome brand for more than 15 years and can be found generating buzz about CB in every way possible. Athena helps to grow the brand’s position as the most storied real estate company within the industry and has led many high-profile endeavors; she was at the forefront of the brand’s pioneering smart home campaign, raised $6 million in two years to build 130 Habitat for Humanity homes, and led the Homes for Dogs program in partnership with that resulted in tens-of-thousands of dogs finding their furever home. She currently leads the CB Supports St. Jude program, which encourages the Coldwell Banker network’s 96,000+ real estate agents to make donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital for every real estate transaction they represent. In her spare time, you can find her either digging up a new area in her yard for another flower bed or planning her next travel adventure. She's the proud mom of three cats Jolene, Ziggy and Lucy.
