We’ve talked at length on this blog about the impact music has on a home and how musicians frequently turn to the idea of home for inspiration. Singer/songwriter Ben Harper’s latest album features a song called “A House is a Home” that perfectly encapsulates the idea of home that we at Coldwell Banker Real Estate believe in with every fiber of our being.

The amazing part about this song, and the video below, is that Ben Harper sings this song as a duet with his mom.

The lyrics are ripe with sentiment and beautifully communicate the feeling of home that we all hold so dearly. But as you saw with yesterday’s post about “Home is Where Mom Is” hearing this song being sung with his mom just adds to the power of the words.

With Mother’s Day around the corner I couldn’t think of a more perfect time to share this tune, “A House is a Home.” Bravo Ben and Ellen Harper.
