Thinking of Camp Pendleton on Memorial Day

Well, we have made it to summer…at least the unofficial start to the season with the Memorial Day weekend!  I’m looking forward to a few days off with my wife enjoying cottage life on the lakes in Michigan.  But obviously Memorial Day has a greater meaning as we honor those who lost their lives defending [...]

Sign, Sign, Everywhere a Sign…**

Coming from automotive industry marketing, I thought one of the coolest things about real estate marketing would be the yard sign…Think about it… For cars, I have to buy the big outdoor board on the Turnpike between Exits  13A and 14 if I wanted to reach consumers in NJ outside of their homes.  In real [...]

Of course that’s all on an entertainment level of enjoyment, but I see a ton of uses for the home owner and home shopper as well. So far my favorite real estate app for the iPad is called Houzz.

The Demolition of Virtual Bricks and Mortar

I’m really torn. Coldwell Banker® is about to launch what we think will be the best real estate website in the industry.  This site will have new search functionality that takes learning from search ideas outside the industry (Pandora, Google, Amazon, iTunes) and applies this to home and agent search.  It also has the best [...]
