The 2017 Coldwell Banker 30 Under 30

Congratulations to this year’s class of recipients!

Coldwell Banker was founded on youth.  Colbert Coldwell and Benjamin Banker were just 24 and 28 respectively when they founded the company to bring ethics and integrity back to the San Francisco real estate community after the turmoil of the 1906 earthquake.  Over 110 years later, Coldwell Banker affiliates are making up the next generation of real estate leaders.

Garrett Bell, Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate – Melbourne, FL: Garrett is a third-generation REALTOR® and one of five family members currently affiliated with the Coldwell Banker brand. Since 2013, Garrett has closed more than 375 homes and $47 million in sales. He was named to the Coldwell Banker 30 Under 30 list in 2015, ranked in the Top 250 REAL Trends Magazine in Florida and has been involved in competitive Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Marital Arts over the past 8 years.  Follow on: Facebook

Matthew Brown, Coldwell Banker Apex, REALTORS® – Allen, TX: In his first year in real estate, Matthew closed 37 deals, and achieved both “Rookie of the Year” and “Top 20” in his office.  He also was a quarterback in high school and college, achieving a scholarship to Texas Christian University.  Matthew claims his time playing football taught him that you need to earn everything in life and applies this philosophy to his client relationships.  Follow on: Facebook

 

Ashley Bynum, Coldwell Banker Gundaker Corporate – Maryland Heights, MO: Ashley is a 28-year-old who helps approximately 700 agents in nine offices as the Coldwell Banker Gundaker eMarketing Coordinator to meet their specific business needs with innovative Coldwell Banker tools and programs.  A true technology maven, Ashley created a local eMarketing program to provide individual and group coaching sessions to sales associates that show them how to incorporate company tools, technology and social media marketing into their businesses.  Follow on: Facebook, Twitter

Leah Canfield, Coldwell Banker Mountain Properties – Breckenridge, CO: Leah was a ski racer prior to getting into real estate.  In 2010, she was the fastest Junior Super-G skier in America, and  earned a spot to represent the USA in the World Junior Championships in Switzerland. Her knowledge of skiing helps her provide a unique perspective for her clients in the resort market.

 

Brett Caviness, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage – Menlo Park el Camino, CA: Born and raised on a farm in Iowa, real estate has always been Brett’s passion and he relocated to California to pursue his dream of selling high end property. Jessica Paola Colon Escorcia, Coldwell Banker Santa Marta Inmobiliaria – Santa Marta, Magdalena, Colombia: As Project Manager at Coldwell Banker, Jessica is committed to her  community.  She is dedicated to promoting, training, collaborating and participating in the social, cultural, religious and foundational events to which her company are invited.

 

Jonathan Darin, Coldwell Banker The Real Estate Group – Homer Glen, IL: Jonathan is a third-generation Realtor and grew up in a family deeply involved in the real estate industry. Henry Edelstein, Coldwell Banker Burnet – St. Paul, MN: A two-time 30 Under 30 winner, Henry became interested in real estate by watching his father, who has been a successful agent for over 40 years. In 2017, he was asked to speak about his personal listing presentation to a group of over 500 people at Listing Lallapalososa in Ohio. Henry attributes the way he works to having grown up with a learning difference. Kendra Ellis, Coldwell Banker Wallace & Wallace, REALTORS® – Knoxville, TN: Kendra grew up in the real estate industry and is a third generation real estate entrepreneur who mixes old school marketing with new technology to interact with her clients.  In 2015 she was named the Knoxville area’s Association of REALTORS’ Rising Star.  Kendra is also heavily involved in her community, in particular the Helping Hands charity in Blount County, TN which provides school supplies, backpacks, new shoes and food to prepare local children for each new school year.  Follow on: Facebook

He also received the Coldwell Banker Hartung and Noblin Rising Star Award, all within less that twelve months of obtaining his real estate license. Molly Jones, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage SLC Avenues – Salt Lake City, UT: Molly is a former competitive kickballer (yes, that is really a thing) who combines Coldwell Banker’s best-in-class marketing with technology and social media savviness, allowing her to discover valuable networking opportunities that sets her apart from the competition. Abidin Sahin, Coldwell Banker Tim Gayrimenkul – Istanbul, Turkey: Abidin is a true success story in the making.  Having entered the real estate industry with no experience, no money and limited knowledge, he is  a natural over-achiever and has an unmatched desire and belief that he can succeed.  He applied to Coldwell Banker, attended training and executed whatever was taught.  Abidin became one of the top ranking sales associates in his first year. Curtis Sernoskie, Coldwell Banker Northern Bestsellers – Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada:  Curtis brings a wealth of experience and youthful energy to his office.  Having previously worked for one of the top Real Estate coaches in North America, Curtis was lucky to learn from and attend conferences with many industry leaders. He moved into his community over 18 months ago and was able to achieve Presidential Elite Award status in his first full year. Austin Solomon, Coldwell Banker Action – Schofield, WI: As the youngest professional on this year’s list at just 20 years old, Solomon brought in more than $8.25 million in home sales volume in his first 15 months, all while earning a degree in business administration at the University of Wisconsin Marathon County. Carrie Thodoroff, Coldwell Banker Mt. Pleasant Realty and Assoc. – Mt. Nikki Thomas, Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty – Hamilton, Bermuda: This 25-year-old brings exceptional customer service to the Bermuda community with her experience in hospitality services. Her dual citizenship in Bermuda and the United States has equipped her with an educational background from both The Ohio State University and Bermuda College in hospitality management that has helped her succeed as the real estate assistant to the president and agency manager of the Bermuda office. As the only person under 30 in the Bermuda office, Thomas has been able to spearhead innovative ideas to improve office training programs.

Joshua Weinraub, Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate – Delray Beach – Delray Beach, FL: Joshua entered the real estate industry at the age of 22.  In his first year, he sold over $5 million in sales and was awarded the rookie of the year award within his office. Now a Diamond Society Award Winner, he built his business the old fashioned way, by door knocking and doing open houses every weekend as well as using his company’s extensive technology to succeed.

Trent Zimmer, Coldwell Banker Burnet – Apple Valley, MN: Trent is one of the National Association of Realtors’ 30 under 30 Top 50 Finalists who credits his success as being  customer focused, dedicated and very community minded.   He volunteers his time to help coach youth hockey at summer camps and has coached varsity hockey and freshman football at the local high school. Noah Zipko, Coldwell Banker College Real Estate – Oxford, OH: Noah’s, a former Division 1 baseball player, view on the real estate profession is that it’s not just a job, but a lifestyle.  He credits his success on being able to allow him to make a living based off of developing and maintaining relationships that can last a lifetime.   Noah is heavily involved in his local community, as being a member of his local Chamber of Commerce, Lion’s Club and Relay for Life.  Follow on: Facebook
