Infographic: The Real Value of a Home

Playing off the concept from our recently launched TV campaign, we thought it would be great to have an infographic that shows how to calculate the real value of a home. As the infographic states, a home’s true value is not found with an algorithm involving square footage. It’s based on a living, breathing equation that adds life’s memories and moments.

As the infographic states, a home’s true value is not found with an algorithm involving square footage. It’s based on a living, breathing equation that adds life’s memories and moments. Take a look:

Husband. Father. Socializer. Mets Lifer. TV Aficionado. Consumer Engager.

David Marine is the Chief Marketing Officer at Coldwell Banker, where he oversees the brand’s marketing efforts and content strategy including acting as managing editor for the Coldwell Banker blog and heading up video production efforts. While CMO by day, David runs a three ring circus at night as he is the father of 4 boys. He also happens to be married to Wonder Woman. True story.

I love this, it is so true. Owning a home is more than a tax write off, or a financial decision, it is about the memories you will have in that home.

“12 photo albums to the square root of 2” , this part was obviously written wrong. Why mention the square root of 2, what is that like 1.4? so 12 to the 1.4 power? Pretty useless way of saying 32.42 albums. It might be exceptional if you said “12 photo albums squared” or 144 albums, “squared” already implies a 2nd power so now reason to even say “2”.

For what it’s worth. I don’t think the infographic does the TV campaihn justice. The TV Campaign is warm, touching and just makes you feel good. The infographic is cold, juvenile and doesn’t seem to convey the message nearly as well. Maybe too busy, not sure, but I didn’t feel good about sharing it.
