I recently read the announcement that Habitat for Humanity hit a milestone this week by building their 400,000 home. That number is amazing when you think that Minneapolis, Minnesota is just shy of that same number of residents. Coldwell Banker Real Estate has been a long time supporter of Habitat for Humanity, and I am proud to think that hundreds and hundreds of those 400,000 homes were built by the hands of our real estate professionals across the globe, either by their fundraising, volunteering or sweat equity efforts for their local Habitat for Humanity affiliate.
This fall I was in Nashville, Tennessee with the team from Coldwell Banker Barnes and Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity helping to build a home for Bernita and her son Tevin in the new development called Park Preserve. Reading this announcement reminded me of Bernita and Tevin and the other wonderful homeowners that I have had the pleasure to meet during my many years at Coldwell Banker. I and the Coldwell Banker network of real estate professionals congratulate Habitat for Humanity on this spectacular achievement.
