A Droid to Cut Your Lawn

I'll confess. I don't cut my own lawn. It's one of those things I can't stand doing. Blame it on my allergies. Blame it on my lack of handiness. Whatever, I don't care as long as I don't have to cut the lawn. I know I'm not alone either and that's why when I saw the LawnBott Spyder, I was intrigued at having a robot cut my lawn. It's like having R2D2 become my landscaper.

I’ll confess. I don’t cut my own lawn. It’s one of those things I can’t stand doing. Blame it on my allergies. Blame it on my lack of handiness. Whatever, I don’t care as long as I don’t have to cut the lawn. I know I’m not alone either and that’s why when I saw the LawnBott SpyderEvo, I was intrigued at having a robot cut my lawn. It’s like having R2D2 as my landscaper.

What the Roomba did for those to lazy to vaccuum, the LawnBott Spyder provides for those who are landscaping adverse. Using a hidden perimeter wire, the LawnBott is able to mow your entire lawn while avoiding the rose bushes and any other obstacles in your yard. The LawnBott is chargeable so there’s no need to buy gas either and the site states it can run for 3.5 hours on a single charge. That should be more than enough for even the biggest of yards.

Other features include 4 wheel drive, virtually silent operation and a docking station to recharge automatically. Check out all the details on LawnBott.com and check out the video below to see it in action.

  1. That’s awesome because I can’t stand mowing our lawn. The only thing standing between this invention and perfection, is picking up after my dog. We all know what the code word is for “obstacles” is … (kidding). 🙂
