In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, David remained calm and helped the company adjust to the “new normal.” He transformed a national ad that was set to run during March Madness 2020 into a message focusing on frontline workers and appreciating the safety of our homes – showing the world how Coldwell Banker is dedicated to moments that matter.
It is because of David’s optimism and creativity that the marketing team was able to thrive during the pandemic and continue to produce successful projects that accurately displayed Coldwell Banker’s advertising and marketing initiatives. Coldwell Banker advertisements have been rated as the No. 1 real estate ad by Ace Metrix for nine years in a row.
Aside from his work during the pandemic, David is responsible for many of the brand’s innovative “firsts” such as launching its mobile website and apps for both iOS and Android. His work transformed the brand’s marketing into a content and social machine. He was also the force behind the first real estate video-centric YouTube channel, and the adoption of the data-driven and AI-backed proprietary CBx app. In 2020 alone, Coldwell Banker’s social channels garnered 4.8M engagements, 6.3M link clicks and 100M+ Lifetime Video views – all through campaigns spearheaded by David. When reflecting on the challenging 2020 year, it is because of David’s positivity, enthusiasm and creativity that his marketing team was able to overcome the obstacles of the pandemic and execute successful advertising and marketing initiatives.
