The Coldwell Banker Brand Delivers on Stronger Technology and Listing Tools

Proprietary intranet platform and marketing tool enhance agent productivity, following successful launches among company-owned offices

MADISON, N.J. (August 25, 2020) – Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC, a Realogy (NYSE: RLGY) brand, today announced the expansion of Desk and Exclusive Look to its Coldwell Banker Affiliates. Desk is a unified platform that brings together key products and tools that agents need to run their business effectively in one cohesive, integrated solution. Exclusive Look is a marketing tool that allows Coldwell Banker agents to showcase their listings to thousands of Coldwell Banker agents across the country and is just one of the many proprietary apps available from the Desk platform. Both products previously launched to Coldwell Banker agents at company-owned offices and will now be available to all of Coldwell Banker’s 94,000 agents.


Agents have always worked in a virtual world. They’re constantly on the go and need to focus on servicing clients and selling properties, not trying to navigate a complex web of tools and sites to get things done. Technology should streamline their work and never slow them down. Desk is a virtual office for today’s agent built on a platform that allows scalability and speed. By January 2020, Desk had a 91% adoption rate among agents and it was a finalist for a 2019 Inman Innovator Award.

Desk was built by The Studio, Coldwell Banker’s award-winning, in-house marketing agency and development group. Desk was developed with agents through one-on-one interviews, focus groups and the Innovation Lab, an annual interactive and immersive agent product test program. The Studio team continues to improve Desk with user response and requests.

Exclusive Look

Exclusive Look is an agent-to-agent in-network marketing platform that offers three key tools that give agents, home buyers and sellers advantages when it comes to real estate transactions:

  • Brokerage Exclusive: Upon seller authorization, new listings are shared exclusively among Coldwell Banker agents within your brokerage. Through their Coldwell Banker agent, clients have access to exclusive listings they won’t find anywhere else.
  • Sneak Peek: One business day before it hits the MLS, Coldwell Banker agents can broadcast a new public listing the moment it’s signed, to as many as 94,000 agents throughout the company network. All local MLS rules continue to apply.
  • Wants/Needs: Agents can network with other Coldwell Banker agents to match buyers’ needs with properties that meet their preferences. Exclusive Look saves custom search criteria and notifies agents when matching properties are posted, empowering agents to help their buyers act quickly and make an offer.

Exclusive Look will be accessible on Coldwell Banker’s new Desk intranet platform for all Coldwell Banker agents starting today. Within the first six months of rollout to agents at Coldwell Banker company-owned offices, the program had over 11,000 listings posted. It is compliant with the National Association of Realtor’s MLS policy statement 8.0.
