Meet the World’s First Smart Bottle

LifeFuels was just honored as the Engadget Best of Show for Startups and a 2016 CES Innovation Honoree. We sat with their Co-Founder & CEO to see what all the buzz was about.

Smart home is often thought of as helping improve the efficiency of a home, but LifeFuels proves that they can also help improve our lives.  Their Smart Nutrition Bottle “bridges a crucial gap in the market because most wearables track output which only creates a partial view into our wellness picture,” said Jonathon Perrelli, CEO. What about what we put in our body?

The LifeFuels Smart Nutrition Bottle uses proprietary technology and a mobile app to keep track of the nutrients we’re putting in our bodies. It became the world’s first smart nutrition bottle and was recently named a 2016 CES Innovation Honoree (and an Engadget Best of Show for startups)

How does it work?

The combination of their bottle, fuel pods and mobile app offer up the ability to track everything you consume, and its feedback loop gives recommendations for you to improve your life and energy levels. In the era wearables and of all things analytics, how cool is it to have an app show you what nutrients you’re getting, what you’re lacking and then provide you with those trackable nutrients through their bottle and fuel pods?

In the words of David Marine, this bottle and app is your “water barista”. The Smart Nutrition bottle retails for $199 and comes with a free app and 130 servings of essential nutrients.
