All Star outfielder, Adam Jones, knows what it means to come home. From home runs to runs scored, Jones has put his stamp on home plate more times than most in the high powered American League East. But when it came time to create a home of his own, the first person he turned to was his mom.
Having grown up in inner city San Diego, Jones credits his mother and his home for shaping him into the man he is today. So when made it to the majors the first home he bought was not for himself, but for his mom.
Jones recently added a home to call his own in the Baltimore area after having signed a contract extension with the Orioles, he felt it was time to set down some roots. In the video below you’ll find that Adam Jones was looking for a “relaxed environment” that would make his ideal home. It’s a place for him to relax after those extended road trips and he comments on how after renting place after place, it was truly a great feeling to be able to call a place his own.
