The New York City’s Police Athletic League, PAL, is a great place to begin your search for sports activities to keep kids occupied and active in NYC. The organization has a rich history of offering NYC kids activities in their effort to keep young people safe and involved. With two locations, the non-profit Asphalt Green has a goal to “Inspire a love for sports and fitness while imparting healthy habits that will improve the lives of New Yorkers.” Their youth sports and aquatics programs feature classes as well as recreational and competitive teams. Asphalt Green’s Multi-Sport program lets the little ones get a sampling of different sports and helps them build confidence.
