At this year’s Consumer Electronics Show, there were thousands of smart home devices on display to make our homes more efficient and convenient but few may be as resourceful as the new Washer/Dryer combo from Whirlpool.

Whirlpool’s new appliance allows you to never transfer loads again as it does the washing and drying all from one appliance. The washer/dryer combo is also WiFi-enabled allowing you to start a load, check it’s progress or even get notified via text when it’s done.

Retailing for around $1,499, the single appliance is about the cost of buying a mid-level washer and dryer, but also offers the space saving advantage of needing only one appliance.
