The Manayunk Pretzel Park and dog park is a canine owner’s paradise. Another popular outdoor spot is the Towpath running along the canal. For those who love a fitness challenge, the area is also famous for its hills — including the steep Manayunk Wall, known to intimidate cyclists competing in the city’s annual Philly Cycling Classic. These hills, difficult to navigate in ice and snow, provide a great workout for weekend warriors.
