Suzanne Somers owns what might be one of the most private homes I’ve ever come across. Nestled in Mesa Canyon near downtown Palm Springs, this incredible home is truly a luxury retreat to escape from the world.
The property spans 73 acres so right there you’ve pretty much guaranteed that no one is going to bother you. The home also has its own cable car that gives you a ride from the ground to the plateau where the home sits. While I call it a cable car, evidently the proper name for the vehicle is a funicular.
Inside the home is exquisitely decorated and every room has ornate touches to it. In addition to the main house, there’s also a guest house and a fabulous pool and outdoor eating area that makes this home feel more like a resort than a residence.
The master house includes indoor and outdoor living and dining rooms, a two-room kitchen, a guest suite, and a wine vault. Real estate agent extraordinaire, Joyce Rey with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, is the listing agent for the $14.5 million property.
