“Mom” and “home” are synonymous for most. After all, Mom gave us our first home, in her belly. In anticipation of Mother’s Day this Sunday, we asked members of our Coldwell Banker team to share how Mom makes their house a home.

The reason why #homeiswheremomis
Is because my mom is a mom through all the struggle raising me and my brother has over come poverty and pain and going days not knowing if we could have enough food for tomorrow she worked two dead end jobs for years…living in a roach invested apartment
Living off of cheese sandwhiches and powedered milk…until she met my stepdad
When I was nine…and moved us out of the mess we were in. I thank my mom and god everyday for mother through every heartache stayed by are side through thick and thin. I would never give up on her she is the best mother a child could ask for.
I love you mom for everything you have done for me for being there by my side
I will never forget that..
#homeiswheremomis because she adopted 4 kids with unconditional love. Always had that glint in her eye and shared her love with ALL that she met. She was a mom to many. No tasks, piles of laundry or any chore ever took precidence over her reading a book with us, baking with us and listening to us. She was a widow at age 45 and raised 4 kids and ran a business and still knew what was really important. Family & Friends! Love and miss you mom!
