Guest post by Craig Hogan, VP of Luxury

I had the pleasure of representing Coldwell Banker at NAGLREP 2018 where over 700 LGBT and allied industry leaders attended. I led a panel discussion on the final day of the conference; I shared my story of coming out as a young man then I was joined by the panelists Jade Mills, Chris Cortazzo and Zar Zangeneh for an in-depth conversation about the world of luxury real estate. Jade Mills and Chris Cortazzo are the #1 and #2 Coldwell Banker agents in the world and Zar Zangeneh is an independent broker and owner of Luxe Estates in Las Vegas.

As the VP of Luxury for Coldwell Banker, I was proud to hear Jade and Chris speak about the power of a global program and superior materials especially because they are two of the world’s most recognized agents – each selling over $5 billion in volume. What we deliver to our network is so crucial. We need to understand the unique needs of the affluent and showcase how agents can enter into the luxury world in their market.  Chris and Jade expressed how thankful they are for the power of the network behind them.

The audience in the room received the first copies of A Look at Wealth which is a report that illuminates the lifestyles of today’s most affluent consumers as they have continued to grow and diversify across generations, genders and borders. As we wrapped up the session, I reminded myself and the audience, never stop learning, work on your skills, learn how to listen and always deliver more than expected.
