Aspen, CO

John Denver spoke the truth when he referred to Aspen as his Sweet Rocky Mountain Paradise in his song “Starwood in Aspen.” Aspen glows with golden leaves of aspen trees in the fall. Bend, OR

Bend is a delightful small city located in the center of Oregon. Spend an afternoon canoeing or kayaking in the river or lakes to see bursts of red, orange and yellow. If you just can’t get enough of the energetic reds, go to the popular downtown spot, Mirror Pond. As the name suggests, you will be able to see double the beauty in the reflection of the calm water.

Those look like some beautiful areas to visit! Thank you for sharing them with us.

Don’t forget about Grass Valley and Nevada City in Nevada County, California. We recently had two entries (Nevada City and Empire Mine State Park) on the list of 10 recommended stops in the Gold Country. You can read the article here: http://www.visitcalifornia.com/trip/california-gold.

We also have some beautifully colored trees this time of year.

    Enjoy the Fall!
