The Central Jersey National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB) proudly hosted the Building Black Wealth Tour and Community Day on Saturday, April 13 at Change Church in Ewing. The event, spearheaded by Regine Thomas, Central Jersey NAREB chapter president and a sales associate affiliated with the Coldwell Banker Realty office in Flemington, promoted Black homeownership, financial literacy, and generational wealth within the community. Attendees had the chance to connect with like-minded individuals, local businesses, and organizations committed to supporting the Black community.
“We are thrilled to have organized such a successful event that fosters empowerment and community engagement,” stated Thomas. “Our goal is to provide valuable resources and knowledge to empower individuals in their journey towards homeownership and financial security.”
Among the distinguished speakers at the event was New Jersey State Senator Troy Singleton. Corey Fowler, a sales associate with Coldwell Banker Realty in Princeton and recording secretary of Central Jersey NAREB, also supported the event’s success.
Roderick Logan, director of diversity, equity, and inclusion at Anywhere Real Estate Inc., said, “Regine’s dedication and commitment to promoting Black homeownership are truly commendable. Events like these play a crucial role in addressing the racial wealth gap and creating opportunities for wealth accumulation within the Black community.”
