A recent scientific study confirmed what we’ve pretty much felt all along, that dogs love their humans. According to this study, dogs also see humans as their family and “rely on us more than they do their own kind for affection, protection and everything in between”.

Knowing the unconditional love dogs have for their pet parents only serves to make stories of neglected and “home-less” dogs even sadder. It was such a pleasure being on set with all of the happy dogs on the set of our new Coldwell Banker TV commercial that broke on Mashable today, but these 7 dogs and their stories have a special place in my heart. From being narrowly saved from kill lists, shot in fields, starved and discarded – these dogs have overcome a whole lot in their lives.

Thankfully they’ve all found loving forever homes and as you can see in the video below, they could not be more happier! Here’s their story.
