Coldwell Banker Realty – Gundaker today announced that President Jim Dohr will retire in September. After 45 years with the company, Dohr has earned a reputation as one of the most highly respected business leaders in St. Louis as well as across the national real estate community.

Starting his career with Ira E. Berry, the then independent brokerage was acquired by Coldwell Banker in 1985. He later joined Gundaker Realtors in 1999, which was soon after also acquired by the company and became Coldwell Banker Gundaker in 2001. Ever since, Dohr spent 20 years steering the ship of Coldwell Banker Realty – Gundaker and securing the company’s spot as the No. 1 brokerage in St. Louis for two decades.

Dohr is not only recognized for his exceptional leadership but also for his unrelenting commitment to serving the city with the highest level of quality and helping to develop outstanding leaders and agents. This dedication extends far beyond the real estate industry and into the greater local community, evident through his receipt of the St. Louis Realtors’ Humanitarian Award and the St. Louis Realtors’ Lifetime Achievement Award.

Coldwell Banker Realty – Gundaker is confident that this success will continue with the leadership of Carole McCabe, who will remain the regional vice president and assume the top position for the company. Working with Dohr for 19 years, McCabe is the ideal individual to continue the company’s growth trajectory and make this as seamless of a transition as possible.
