The World’s Most Interesting Bathtub

Who doesn't love lying in a hammock? It's relaxing and almost has this vacation-like feel to it. Now what if I told you there's a way to combine enjoying a hammock with relaxing in a bathtub? Too good to be true, right?

Who doesn’t love lying in a hammock? It’s relaxing and almost has this vacation-like feel to it. Now what if I told you there’s a way to combine enjoying a hammock with relaxing in a bathtub? Too good to be true, right?

Well Splinter Works is looking to make this resort quality relaxation available in your own home with their Vessel Hammock Bathtub. It bends the rules of physics and makes the impossible possible.

By elevating the bathtub and bending it to fit the mold of a typical hammock, this new breed of bathtubs looks to take relaxing to a whole new level. It will however require you to have the perfect bathroom setup in order to make it work as your standard tub & shower combo won’t work in this new setup.

The Hammock Bathtub is made of a lighter material that it can withstand being suspended in the air. The tub is also available in a variety of colors including black, red, yellow, pink, bronze and silver. If you buy the pink bathtub hammock, I really need you to send me a picture of it.

Splinter Works claims the tub is also big enough for two. I’m not so sure about that, but who am I to judge. No price has been determined yet, but I would guess if you have to ask what the price is the chances are you can’t afford it.
