Rockies Pitcher Latroy Hawkins Shows Us His ‘Home Base’

With last week’s launch of our Coldwell Banker Homefield Advantage series with MLB.com, we were offered an up close look at the homes of CC Sabathia and Pirates slugger Neil Walker. Our series continues this week as Latroy and Anita Hawkins open the doors to their jaw-dropping mansion in Houston, Texas.

Latroy Hawkins has pitched for 11 Major League teams and travels quite often, but he always has home on his mind; so much so that he tries to come home whenever the Rockies have an off day. His profession keeps him away from family and his dream home, but when the gates to “Casa de Hawkins” open up, he knows that the hard work and sacrifices are all worth it.

Latroy may not be a top 10 pitcher but as you’ll see in this week’s video, he has a top 10 home. The Hawkins family custom built their dream home and it is no surprise at all to see why he loves being there. It features a massive home set on sprawling grounds that feature a pool and a basketball court!
