Black is the New Black: LG’s OLED 4K TV Gives Color New Meaning

This showstopper in entertainment technology from LG will have you wishing real life looked this good.

With all of the outstanding products being featured at CES 2016, one of the standout highlights was the LG OLED 4K TV.  David Marine, VP of Brand Engagement met with a rep at LG to get the low-down on what is being touted as the “TV to beat at CES.”

This beauty projects picture on glass so thin, it measures only 4 credit cards thick. But, that’s not the only element that makes this the sleekest TV we’ve seen. With self-illuminating pixels, the technology allows for the ability to completely turn off pixels to achieve a perfect, true black, unlike the TV gray we’re used to.

Photos can’t do the crystal clear picture quality justice.  OLED 4K shows the most vibrant representations of every color, regardless of the hue or angle.  In fact there is no distortion or white wash if viewed from different angles.  You know what that means? No more fighting for the best seat in the house –they’re all great.

This TV is sadly not yet available for sale, but will be in the coming year.  So keep an eye out because we’re certain you’ll want one in your home.
